Pu-238.  It is used because it has a decent half-life and is an alpha-only
decayer (no dangerous gammas)

We have gobs of U-238 (depleted uranium) as it is the waste from uranium
enrichment.

We do have a shortage of Pu-238, it has to be specially manufactured
or something.
