Signal processing is always a great area for a library. Even using
library functions signal processing is complicated and *no one* has time
to write the basic signal processing code if they don't have to. The
only limiting factor in a signal processing library is that relatively
speaking, there would be few users. It's no every day you need signal
processing for code you are writing.

I agree a bit with Hugh in that I've always wondered why there aren't
basic array defining words. I ended up with my own library which
posters here helped me develop. Writing that was a useful exercise and
I learned a few things, but I don't see why that library isn't out there
already. I expect apps that don't need arrays are few and far between.
