No, Stupid Ken.  That definition of the meter did not exist when Einstein
derived SR. At that time, the meter was the length of some platinum rod
in Paris. No circular definition.

The fact is, no matter how much you and Ralph deny it, SR really is
verified by experiment, day in and day out.  If SR and GR didn't work,
particle accelerators would never work, muons would never reach the
ground and the GPS system would never work. Just to list a few.

Of course, later we measured the speed of light to be 299,792,458 m/s.
And we knew the speed of light was always the same regardless of source
motion.  Because it is much easier and more accurate to measure a distance
by measuring the time light takes to traverse the distance than it is to
measure the distance with a meter stick, the current most accurate 
definition of the meter does define it in terms of c, but note that this
happened LONG AFTER it was known that SR was real and c was a constant.
Relativity k00ks love to k00k about this definition of the meter, but they
never acknowledge that SR was derived and understood long before that ever 
happened.
