I have notice over time, and the last few days I have been thinking
about this in particular. scanf's design. It wants the value of the address
a pointer points to. Hum now I notice many functions want a pointer's
address. But not so many an address pointed at.
What exactly do the designer's have in mind here when it comes to scanf
and dealing with pointers. Or am I just seeing something that's not there.
int a;
scant ("%x\n",&a);
Should want a hex value or convert to a hex value. I can't remember scanf
I've never really looked into greatly.
Bill
