How? I know you. Yet in my previous post where I asked how it works, I did not honor your god. Remember there's a big difference between refraining from profanity (which is just basic politeness/respect/morale, things that do exist outside of religion too) and honoring a god. So what does an offering honoring your god is supposed to look like in order to get a reply? So when someone swears at YOU, after YOU warned them about it, you automatically assume that the swearing is not really aimed at YOU but at your god. I don't see the logic in that, but I do see it's a convenient way for you to redirect dirt aimed at you in your god's direction so you don't have to deal with it yourself.
