I'm reading _In the World of Sumer_ (the autobiography of Samuel
Noah Kramer) and _The Confessions of St. Augustine_ right now.
Also, I'm working my way through three textbooks: _Socratic Logic_
(Peter Kreeft), _A Grammar of Akkadian_ (John Huehnergard) and _A
Manual of Sumerian Grammar and Texts_ (John L. Hayes). The latter
two have been rather slow going for a long while now; I don't pick
up languages from self-teaching as quickly now as I did when I was
younger, and these are my first non-Indo-European languages which
makes the learning curve a bit steeper too.

I've recently finished _The Complete Works of H.P. Lovecraft_ and am
currently reading _Phantastes_ (George MacDonald), both as eBooks on
my smartphone. (The others I mentioned above are print books.) Not
too long ago I finished a several-months-long session of reading all
the "Grand Tour" series of SF novels by Ben Bova (all in print form).
After a little break from Bova I plan to go back and read the rest
of his SF novels.
