Gentoo, the ONLY distro for REAL men, compiles ALL
of my GNU/Linux software except for a few packages.

One of those packages is LibreOffice.

Gentoo wants to pull in icedtea instead of Oracle java
and that is something, for certain reasons, which I cannot
allow.  Thus, I am essentially forced to use the binary
version of LibreOffice from their official repository.

My minimalist system used to be able to accommodate the
binary OpenOffice, but it does not suffice for the newer
LibreOffice.  Here is a list of "extra" libraries which
I have to manually include in the LO binary tree:

avahi-libs-0.6.31
cups-libs-2.0.2
dbus-glib-0.104
keyutils-libs-1.5.9
krb5-libs-1.13
libselinux-2.3
openssl-libs-1.0.2e

For what do they need this infernal shit?  I don't need
a fucking print spooler.  I don't need fucking network
awareness.  So give me a fucking break, assholes.

Well, today I downloaded the latest LO binary release and
now I need even MORE extra libraries:

gnutls-3.3.22-1
libtspi11-0.3.13
nettle-2.7.1
p11-kit-0.23.2

Holy fucking shit!  What the fuck is going on here?
The package libtspi1 is to implement trusted computing!

The LO folks seem to be following the unstoppable trend
of wanting to do everything simply because they CAN.
But doing something just because one CAN do it is not
a valid reason.

I am afraid that before too long I shall have compile LO
from source MYSELF and remove all that useless cruft.

That would be best.  LO runs much faster if compiled from
source.
