I differentiate between 'reset' (like on your computer, it just restarts the phone) and 'factory reset' which, as might be expected, supposedly resets the phone to factory-fresh virginity. Perhaps 5% as bad as a factory reset -- whenever an app updates it removes its icon from my home page(s) -- and I have 6 of them with 16 apps each, carefully arranged in some manner that seemed reasonable at the time. So now I have to guess which apps were updated and where I put their icons. And then I have to do it again when they're updated next week. What's the point of a home page if it doesn't stick? -- Cheers, Bev 66666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666 Vampireware; n, a project capable of sucking the lifeblood out of anyone unfortunate enough to be assigned to it, which never actually sees the light of day, but nonetheless refuses to die. -- Trygve Lode
