|I see and learn...So you are implying that a clock with hands (like my 
Longines) or a sundial clock are not standard clocks, while a digital clock 
radio, with visible display, is a standard clock.

No. I'm not. If there is an implication, it's all yours.

|So, Tom Van Baak at http://leapsecond.com/great2005/ was using standard 
clocks, according to your definitions. He took his  kids and three atomic 
clocks (with digital displays)up to mount Rainier (a difference of 1340 
meters) staying there for 40 hours. After returning he compared the 
|standard readings of the atomic clock with a reference clock located at his 
home and you know what....he found that t' was not equal to t.

Oh, from my point of view they were, with the precision of an
acceptable error.
Relativity, you know. "acceptable" is a VERY relative term.
