Where disproof means demonstration of a conflict between observations predicted by the theory and actual observations. That is, confrontation with experiment and observation. NOT disproof by "argument" or "logic". Of course, in order for a hypothesis to get to the point where it can even be compared to experiment, it has to be developed mathematically to the point where it makes those predictions of observations -- and those predictions have to be quantitative, specific, and distinguishing.
