Yes, I'm typing this on a T410 which replaces an earlier Lenovo, one of
whose hinges broke - on the outbound flight on a month-long vacation.
(I kept it going, though.  It still works, but it's in the closet now.)

Yes, this one's X server occasionally locks up too.  Enough remains alive
that I can ssh into it and do an orderly reboot, but it's a bit of a pain.

I normally avoid games too, but I did get hooked on Portal a while ago
thanks to Jamie Zawinski - the description of the xscreensaver hack
"CompanionCube" pointed me to a wiki article that led me down the dark
path.  The T410 has just enough power to run Portal 2 if I need a fix
away from home.
