I know. My kids almost never call their friends. It's almost all texting 
or online chatting -- and I admit I text quite a bit now (but that can be 
done a flip phone).

My wife, on the other hand, runs a big part of her business on her Galaxy 
Note. Facebook, texting, email -- always turns on navigation when goes to 
a client's house, etc. For her it's an indispensable tool. So I know I'm 
in the minority. And, to be honest, I probably do use the smartphone more 
than I think. I play pinochle on it, or read on the Kindle app when I 
have to wait somewhere ... and I do this fairly often.
