You previously k'lamed it to be a sine wave rather than just a number.
Are you backpedaling on that too, ko0ky?

When did you?

Still bleating about that, are you?

If you ignore the lone pairs. Include them and it's a tetrahedron, which
VSEPR says will have a 104 degree angle between the two hydrogens rather
than the perfectly regular tetrahedron angle of 109 degrees, in good
agreement with observation. (Lacking a proton to partly screen the
valence electrons' charges, the lone pairs repel each other more than
the two hydrogens do, stretching the lone pair part of the tetrahedron
and thus squeezing the hydrogen part.)

Can you explain the 104 degree bond angle without the lone pairs, ko0ky?

So you're backing off from k'laming that it's a *Fourier* transform of a
circle?

Have you? 'Twasn't that long ago you thought a certain periodic signal
would have a period of eight zillion or so when the correct answer was one.

Oh, don't be so hard on yourself.

But this long, concentrated litany of all your recent backpedals
suggests to me that Sn!pe could use some competition for that Lance
Armstrong Trophy. Consider yourself entered into the race as his
competitor. Whoever can go backwards the most vigorously during what
remains of the month of April, wins, for fuck's sake.
