We'll take just one example. Let's consider a 10.0 kg stone held 3.5 m 
above sea level at the equator.
mass = m = 10.0 kg.
height = 3.5 m
r =  6,378,137 m + 3.5 m
M = 5.972 × 10^24 kg
G = 6.67408 × 10-11 m^3 kg^-1 s^-2
