Do I give a sausage about wiki > definitions? Rarely and barely. A rare and bare sausage, eh? I'm struggling a bit with that one. I think geography can influence politics. Take our "… precious stone set in the silver sea / Which serves it in the office of a wall" for instance. That wall has protected us from much Continental turbulence, stabilised our borders and our government, made us strong on the water, perhaps enabled the Empire…. Quite a lot of politics there. Point to ponder: did the sea give us the Tory wets?
