That would be a wasted vote in a Labour strong hold seat.

I would expect that the % of split votes would be very small. People want to
vote for X and certainly not Y. You are diluting you vote will be the
thinking. Espically in these days of strong party lines.

We have to remember that the Last Labour Government got enough seats to
rule alone. A rare case.
