After doing the research , for my system I chose a WD Black. For your situation, the WD red would be the choice, of course. Though I have not had problems with the economical "standard" hard drives, I really would not recommend them for 24/7 use. One of my friends, who lost quite a number of drives, never had a problem again once I advised him not to keep his machine on 24/7
