1.7 GHz Quad core ARM with integrated 2GB RAM selling for USD 59
----------------------------------------------------------------

OK I lied.

Its the complete board with that chip on it that sells for USD 59:

http://www.cnx-software.com/2013/12/23/hardkernel-unveils-59-odroid-u3-board-powered-by-exynos-4412-prime-quad-core-soc/

Already runs Xubuntu 13.10.

It supports eMMC cards which are 4x faster than uSD cards.

Boots into Xubuntu between 10 and 20 seconds with the help
of the eMMC card that functions similar speeds to SSD.

Becase the 2GB DDR RAM is integrated into the one chip,
and the remaining functions integrated into the SoC,
there is precious little that needs adding to get a
fully functional computer.

At these sort of prices, other manufacturers must
race to make similar chips or face extinction from
high cost.

Why stop with 2GB RAM? Why not go for a flash
SSD controller built into the dice?!
