But I dislike this type of equipment for several reasons. For me smartphones occupy too much time for no obvious benefit. All the people stare constantly at their little screens and watch tiny bits of information, which serve no obvious purpose for them. Any modern smartphone has built in several microphones and cameras and has in most cases a constant connection to some sort of network. (This is the dream of all sort of spies.) But it gets even 'better' since the phones can also monitor heartbeats, sleep and geo-position. With a few extra 'apps' and devices, you could scan the environment of the phone in any direction and in the size of a soccer field for whatever you want. These phones are also quite expensive, if you always want the latest gadget. I also do not want to be available constantly and everywhere. (Actually I would prefer phones with land-lines and answering machines.) TH
