Come visit Belgium. We're the king of traffic signs (and bad roads). As for speed limits and fines: they've been installing 'traject controles' everywhere, not always for safety, but for profit. It's a very lucrative business. Two ANPR cameras are placed on a road to measure your speed, so your plates are always registered, even if you're not speeding. People are now being fined for doing 53 km/h in a 50 km/h zone. -- s|b
