At mean distance there is a trap in
what exactly is meant by the mean.

Mean as arithmetic mean of perigee and apogee ?
Mean as arithmetic mean for orbit points ?
Mean as arithmetic mean for time points ?

So it is much better
to use explicit semi major axis data, which are available.
