Isn't it fascinating, John, that you accuse me of having a spellchecker 
that won't admit your ideas, when it is YOU that says that point 
particles are just outright nonsense and are incomprehensible to you? 
Who's got the mental spellchecker, me or you?

Well, you SAY this, John, but here's the thing. Just because you utter 
it, doesn't make it necessarily so.

In SCIENCE, and I assume we're talking about science here, any assertion 
that anybody makes must come with a testable consequence, something NOT 
YET OBSERVED but FEASIBLE TO OBSERVE. This is the way and the ONLY way 
that science puts assertions to test to see if they are actually right.

So here's the thing. You've made a statement that everything (that's 
EVERYTHING) is infinitely complex (that's INFINITELY), but you've not 
given any indication anywhere of any testable consequence of that, where 
that testable consequence means something that has not yet been 
observed, but could reasonably and feasibly be observed. On that, you've 
offered NOTHING. So as a scientific claim, it's useless.

On the other hand, models involving point particles make lots and lots 
of testable predictions, which included a number that had never before 
been observed until an experiment was designed to test it. And guess 
what? Those testable predictions matched experiment.

So from a SCIENTIFIC standpoint, the zero volume assertion has something 
that your infinite-complexity assertion does not.

Now, I get that you don't necessarily like the idea of how science tests 
assertions, and want to consider only what is "acceptable to the mind". 
But since this is a science group, I think you're out of luck on that.

I find this line of thinking rather amazing, John. You say that anything 
that exists MUST have some INTERNAL energy flow from one place inside to 
another place inside. Can you explain why you think this is so?
