Us, at work. It is one of the "supported" distros at work. SuSE and RedHat itself are the others. It's a pain in the ass, too. First, it doesn't have nearly the package range and configuration conveniences of Debian. Second, IT assumes that any Linux workstation is a server, and they force you to install an anti-virus program, to protect the precious Windoze boxes they think will be getting files forwarded through your "server". The AV is a royal pain in the ass. If you use a GUI file explorer on GNOME, it will take minutes to load your Download directory and your fan revs up due to the overhead of the file scanner. (Console "ls"? No problem. Luckily, that's my preferred way to work with files.) I've had it produce (and slowly) corrupt data ISO files. I've had it induce freeze-ups in my Windows VirtualBox-hosted machines. I've had it strip out the content of *XML* files transferred from a Windows machine. It's crazy stuff, and indicates just what an impact Windoze vulnerabilities have on reliability and performance. Luckily, unlike with Windows, IT also lets the Linux user be the administrator of his computer, and one can temporarily disable that fucking crapware in order to DO ONE'S JOB. -- Lady Luck brings added income today. Lady friend takes it away tonight.
