That's no excuse for the desktop linux situation. Even with a windows disaster, again, users still can't find their way to desktop linux. Linux is not at fault. Linux is a kernel, according to most here, but only when it suits their ability to deflect issues. The fault lies with the complete lack of empathy for the user among the desktop linux developers. >
