Different installers are going to put these directories somewhere. Hiding
them and confusing things seems like it would cause problems. Wouldn't it
just be easier to delete the folders if they're created?

Certainly true for "some" - I know a few of these "some" people. Nothing
wrong with that.

I'm not confused. Music/video piracy is copyright infringement. That's not
the point.
