People would feel left out in the cold because they didn't use exFAT?
Are you seriously that stupid? By the way, it's _proprietary_. It looks
like your Linux spellchecker failed yet again.

We ridicule the "alternative product" because it's not much of an
alternative. It works poorly, fixes a minority of bugs with each release
all the while introducing a ton more and often, like LibreOffice,
demonstrates that it is decades behind in terms of technology. Hell,
Linux itself still hasn't managed to get most of the computers to sleep
and wake properly (a known Linux kernel problem regardless of what lies
you tell). Linux and its software is as much an alternative to Windows
as a Fiat 500 is an alternative to a Porsche 911.
