I don't know. I do know for certain what it was not. The only collapse-related possibility I can think of was it was the sound of the interior collapse of the east part of WTC7, which happened several seconds before the main collapse. It doesn't really make sense that it would sound like a jet engine, however. Where was he when Building 7 collapsed?
