Mm, yes. Well I've decided that speed and security are going to be two key features, and at some point when optimizing the C code doesn't give results, hand-optimizing Assembly code will be done. I have the impression that it isn't easy to be better than a good C compiler at creating Assembly code, but it will be interesting to give it a go. I guess creating something that's safer and faster than the alternative and then going around on different projects "selling" the library could be a good way to get things started. Would be great to have it included in Firefox and Thunderbird for example. -Morten
