I'm sorry, but this has nothing to do with the Galilean transformation. Your complaint is apparently about what a standard clock is defined as. Oh, yes they do. That's the point, Robert. The variables in the equations have definitions OUTSIDE of the forms of the equations themselves. You have mistaken the EQUATION t'=t to be the definition of t' (that is, t' is DEFINED by this equation to be equal to t). But that is not how t' is defined. t' is defined as I've described to you at least two dozen times, and which you seem completely unable to understand. t' is defined OUTSIDE the time-related equation and the definition is the time as determined on a standard clock at rest in S', where that standard clock is TODAY's definition of a standard clock, not what it was in Galileo's day. > That would depend on motion of the clocks and gravitation. > >> These equations don't allow for length contraction.
