Now, it's pretty obvious that the way you do the calculus ends up with a different result than what happens when physicists do the calculus, but I wouldn't take that to mean that it's the scientists that don't know what they're doing. Would you? No, I think it's pretty indicative that you don't know how to do calculus. After all, using your version of calculus, you came up with the conclusion that the Galilean transformations show that the speed of light should be frame-independent, when it is well known (and easy to show with calculus) that the speed of light would be frame-dependent with Galilean transformations. -- Odd Bodkin --- maker of fine toys, tools, tables
