The public demands about 10 distros.

And it's easy to prove to yourself, fraud.  Just go to their forums at 
random and look at the sparse # of submissions.

And go to the wikimedia OS traffic analysis web page, and see how many 
wiki page requests come from each distro.  Once you get past the Top 10 
or so, they drop off to almost nothing.
