Someone recently said to me 'Absence of evidence is not evidence of 
absence". So I won't repeat that cliched line.

Sadamm moved his huge stockpiles of chemicals into Syria just before the 
US invasion of 2003. Most have become inert or severely degraded by now, 
but ISIS has got hold of some and is using them in Syria and Iraq.
Mainly for their terror properties.

Note that the US gave Sadamm chemical weapons back in the day, so there 
absolutely WERE chemical weapons in Iraq.
