Science involves comparing the numbers from (1) with the numbers from (2). If the numbers agree consistently, then this is how you know the theory is good. If the numbers do not agree, then this is how you know the theory doesn't work. If you can't generated (1) at all, this is how you know you don't even have a theory. Now, John, if you're going to call all this garbage, then you're just saying that you don't get how science works, or that you get it and you think it sucks.
