I am getting:

buf = "0x1.032916p+0"
sscanf returned 0
out = 1.0123456789 = 0x1.032916p+0
in == out

If I change out to 0.0, I get:

in  = 1.0123456789 = 0x1.032916p+0
buf = "0x1.032916p+0"
sscanf returned 0
out = 0.0000000000 = 0x0.000000p+0
in != out

sscanf is failing over hear on MSVC 12.

DAMN!
