Not long after I started learning Fortran, just about the time that work first began on C, someone commented to me about the Fortran compiler not accepting their FROMAT statements. Maybe it wasn't easy in 1970's technology, but it should not be hard in current technology for a compiler to figure out sruct. Why is it that none do? -- glen
