Suppongo intendi "ogni parte del messaggio". Mesnews lavora sui campi 
disponibili nell'interrogazione del server per i nuovi messaggi (campi più 
che sufficienti per filtrare utenti, argomenti e tipo di messaggio). Per 
la ricerca nel corpo agisce solo sui messaggi scaricati, a posteriori.
Se vuoi il massimo del controllo e manipolazione del messaggio ti 
consiglio Gnus https://www.gnu.org/software/emacs/manual/gnus.html#Scoring
Altrimenti vai di Sylpheed http://sylpheed.sraoss.jp/en/features.html
Non sono aggiornato invece sulle ultime release di XPN che essendo in 
python si potrebbe personalizzare https://sourceforge.net/projects/xpn/.

Poi ci sono gli abbandonati: Dialog aveva la possibilità di scripting 
interno. Xnews aveva buoni filtri. Mahogany... etc. etc. etc... :-(
