When Virgin discontinued newsgroups in June 2021 I bought a 1TB block at Newsdemon for £5.57 just for the binary groups that are not available on ES. I thought that it would last me perhaps a year. I have actually used 176GB as of today, so still 824GB left! I did have a look at Newsdemon site today, 1TB today is $87 about £60, wow! A 10Gb block is $2, or 25GB for $5, which would last ages for text only newsgroups. https://www.newsdemon.com/blog/new-from-newsdemon-non-expiring-usenet-block-accounts -- mick
