Had a girlfriend who, out of spite, gave away an entire LP collection
of mine. Many of which were worth a fortune, including rare Beatles and
Stones stuff, including misprints, early Decca promotional records etc.
She gave it to the Salvation Army. I chased down the Salvation Army and
found out that some of my Laserdiscs of horror movies had been mixed
in, when they saw the horror movies, particularly Cannibal Holocaust,
they threw the entire record collection away with the laserdiscs as
Satanic and not appropriate to sell in a Christian store! I get sick
to this day thinking about it. Needless to say, I stopped seeing her
right after this happened. I am just glad my retro-computer stuff was
in storage at the time.
