The best thing morally, IMHO,is avoid Syndicomm, and write the original 
authors and ask to freeware whatever product. Syndicomm is obviously a 
mismanaged mess. I found that trying to get people who can't manage 
their own responsibilities into your life will just make your own life 
a little more unmanageable. You could also simply pirate the software 
and leave the responsibility for the original authors to contact YOU. 
Works for Jason Scott and archive.org probably the biggest pirates of 
old software on the internet right now!
