I wondered how the issue of Power Nap arose. I looked back. You said,

"For computers which support Power Nap, you can't configure a delay
before sleeping the computer, only the display. There is a setting to
prevent the computer sleeping automatically while the display is asleep
(only while running from power adapter), but I haven't enabled it."

Mine supports Power Nap and lets me adjust the computer sleep display 
from 1 minute to never.  I wonder why yours won't allow it. (It's beside 
the point.  Thanks for your help.)
