JR, I did not migrate all the stuff from the PPC drive. I wanted to have it totally clean. The only stuff that I really wanted was the iTunes, which I downloaded from Apple(thank God they allow that!), the Super Duper (which you now told me to download the Intel version and use the old registration number), and Thoth(which may/may not work on Intel, it is version 1.8). The rest of the stuff was crap, like Apple Works and other stuff that came from upgrading from 10.2 to 10.3 to 10.4.11. I just spent the last hour transferring all my old iPhotos from CD and USB stick to the new 10.10.2 version of iPhoto. Thanks to David Empson, he told me about the iPhoto upgrade tool to allow old format iPhotos to load and be compatible with the newest version. Could I just wipe the LaCie drive, it is 350gigs, and just start clean? Will it be compatible with Time Machine? If so, then I will go that route. So far, this new iMac is a gem, so unlike the old G4, less cartoony and so much faster!!! Thanks for all your advice and help, along with others, I very much appreciate the help.
