They might have been bothering them, but if that were true, it wouldn't explain why Hitler invaded the Rhineland, Austria-Hungary and the Czech Republic. Does history claim that events within their borders angered him or is it simply true that he was an expansionist who was looking for _any_ imaginable reason to attack his neighbours? Once Poland was reformed after the World War, Germany lost Poland's territory and had to concede territory that had always been theirs to allow Poland to have access to water. The Danzig area remained German and they claimed that they wanted to make some sort of highway to connect that area to Germany. It was merely propaganda though. Whether they had lost their territory or not, they would have attacked Poland and tried to conquer it one way or the other. Look at it this way: Hitler stupidly attacked his most powerful ally in Stalin.
