No drama.  I am not currently including a modified copy of the 
interpreter.  It is something I had considered unfeasible because of 
licensing restrictions, I now realize that it is feasible.

Since I also realize that my applications are linux-specific, and what 
I'm working toward is system-independence, I'm not sure it's worth 
taking the time to implement, since it solves only half of a problem.

So Jerry, when are you retiring, or are you going to be one of those 
skeletons sitting at a desk covered in cobwebs? <g>
