Which is of no comfort to anyone who dislikes them all, or who wants to do new things with Usenet. > You seem to want a modern commercial Mac Usenet client without concern > for the reality of the market. On the contrary. I know all too well the reality of the market. That’s why I put a (starting) price tag of $10K on fixes to Unison. Clearly nobody here is willing to individually or collectively pay that price, and so it is no surprise that development has stopped. The market has spoken, welcome to the reality you have created, stop complaining about it. > I've said it before and I'll say it > again: you set yourself up for inevitable failure, and then couldn't > seem to handle it when the reality both hit home and was pointed out to > you. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: your measure of success bears absolutely no relation to mine. My aim was to determine what the actual market was for a Mac newsreader. It was a success, and it saved me many hours of toiling away to produce something that too few would buy. -- "Also . . . I can kill you with my brain." River Tam, Trash, Firefly
