10.10.2 In only one of my user accounts, Safari freezes the whole system when I try to visit any website. I can switch between open windows, but all seem to be inactive, the Dock and menu bar are frozen, Activity Monitor is frozen, etc. Sometimes it unfreezes for a few seconds and then freezes up again. When this happens there is occasionally enough time for me to force quit Safari with Terminal or Activity Monitor, but usually not; so I force a power down. I tried disabling all Safari extensions, I cleared all of its caches, and I deleted the entire ~/Library/Safari folder. Still same problem. Safari launches and displays my default page (about:blank) fine, but total lockup when I visit any website. Firefox still works just fine, and the Safari problem only occurs in my user account. It works fine in my wife' account. To make matters worse, Console is most unhelpful. I got Safari to freeze the system at 9:30:00 PM, and forced a power down and restart at 9:32:00 PM. Here's the system log: 2/13/15 9:29:58.182 PM locationd[56]: could not get apple languages array, assuming english 2/13/15 9:32:28.000 PM bootlog[0]: BOOT_TIME 1423891948 0 Zilch logged during the lockup. Help? -- K. Lang may your lum reek.
