As long as you can get hold of the "through style" plugs in future 
should be ok, they are a little easier to see that you've got the pairs 
inserted in proper sequence.

I can only think that the reviewer didn't get the wiring correct, but if 
he thinks he's wiring "gigabit wifi", who knows?
