Inching towards a licence, I think... I'll add another voice in favour of MailMate too. I agree it's expensive but I value having a good mail client and even contribute to Benny's ongoing development through a subscription. My reason for liking it so much was when I first had a Mac in 2003 I used a application from Barebones that was called MailSmith. I liked it for its very simple GUI and powerful rules. When I was looking for an IMAP equivalent MailMate was the closest I could get. I particularly value that it's a plain text client until one starts typing in markdown and then it switches over to formatted text. The plugins in the Commands menu are also pretty powerful to turn emails into actionable items or even just for a bit of fun to visualise varying aspects of email history. -- Cheers, Steve
