If the machine is bitlocker encrypted, either make sure you have a backup of the recovery key which is NOT stored on the computer, or remove the encryption ... if it came encrypted from the factory, and it's Home, you might not be able to re-encrypt it (but I think the O/P said it was Pro) settings, Accounts, Your Info, under account Settings, there should be a button [sign in with a local account instead]
