Upgraded the workstation from Mint 21.3 to 22.1 using some prep work, followed by a careful "apt dist-upgrade". (I first tried the mintupgrade tool, but that errored out.) I wouldn't recommend this upgrade path unless one is an experienced "dpkg surgeon", just in case things go awry. (For example, I had to install "base-files" using dpkg to complete the process.) -- -v System76 Thelio Mega v1.1 x86_64 NVIDIA RTX 3090 Ti OS: Linux 6.13.0 Release: Mint 22.1 Mem: 258G "All computers run at the same speed... with the power off."
