Documenting something is important too. If Microsoft had sat around writing 
compilers without telling people how to use them by providing good 
documentation and  examples of how to exploit the capabilities of the PC and 
Windows then some of us might still be using CP/M.

But if Bill Gates had single-handedly tried to do all the code at Microsoft 
it would have had the same delaying effect.

I still don't think there's many programmers left on the Apple II. I think 
we probably know quite a few of those who are left. So from my view I need 
these guys before we all disappear:)
